Small-Size Cellulose Casings
NOJAX casings are cellulose casings made of regenerated cellulose, being used for the production of frankfurters, hot-dog, raw sausages, stick minisalamis, etc.
NOJAX casings are designed for automatic high speed stuffing, but they may also be successfully used for manual stuffing. They are known worldwide as the safest casings in their category, from the viewpoint of their quality and economic efficiency.
They are delivered as pre-humidified ready-to-use shirred sticks.

Diameters: their diameters range from 14 mm to 47 mm.
Colors: are available both in the neutral version and in a wide variety of colors. They may also be stripped in different colors in order to allow one to distinguish between the different assortments during the production stages.
Treatments applied to NOJAX casings
- Regular – These are casings with no specific treatment. They have the natural adherence of cellulose to proteins. They are recommended when the final product does not require peeling.
- EP -These casings are treated in order to allow perfect casing peeling off the product.
Natural colors/Flavors: NOJAX casings may be impregnated with natural coloring agent or flavors, in order to achieve a unique look and special taste.
They are also available in the Close End version, which is ideal for use on automatic machines.
NOJAX casings are available as pre-humidified ready-to-use shirred sticks.
They may also be customized by printing.
Storage
Casings should be stored in a cool dry room, yet not in the vicinity of air conditioning pipes.
The storage temperature is 12-24°C.
Store the casings in their original packages, in order to keep them moist, and comply with the “first-in – first-out” rule.
