Between 7 and 10 February 2015, PIONEER GRUP together with its partner VISKASE invited Romanian meat processors to visit one of the 9 Viskase production facilities worldwide.
Romanian directors, production managers and factory managers went for the first time to the factory in Beauvais (France), where they had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with cellulose casing manufacture technologies and to understand the role of the raw material involved in the production process, how they are made and how long it takes to make them, what the differences between them are, and especially how important the quality control processes implemented by Viskase are.
This facility also includes a laboratory in which Viskase casings are tested, trialed and developed, and which provides services to our customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa. This laboratory is fully operational, being equipment with cutter, automatic clamping devices, stuffing machines, curing-boiling cells and automatic cellulose casing peeling machines.
