They are extruded cellulose casings with very good stretching characteristics.
They are designed for oval products, such as chicken, pork or turkey rolls or torpedo salami, etc.
They are also available with SL treatment to avoid the formation of fat pouches.
VISREX casings are available both in the neutral version and in a wide variety of colors. Please see the color database.
They are available as shirred sticks, rolls, precut pieces, clamped or tied together at one end.
Available diameters: 55/75 mm – 85/120 mm.
Storage:
Casings should be stored in a cool dry room, yet not in the vicinity of air conditioning pipes.
The storage temperature is 12-24°C.
