R CASING extruded cellulose casings

They are extruded cellulose casings with exceptional diameter evenness.
They are ideal for raw-dry, medium-dry salamis, and for boiled and cured salamis.
Depending of the treatment applied to the casings, they may be successfully used when product peeling is required at the end of the production process.

Here are the types of treatment available:

  • EP, for easy peeling
  • SL, to prevent fat pouches
  • SEC, to prevent surface mould growth

R CASSING casings are available both in the neutral version and in a wide variety of colors. Please see the color database.

They are available as pre-humidified ready-to-use shirred sticks (50 linear meters/stick).
Available diameters: 34 mm to 80 mm.

Storage:
Casings should be stored in a cool dry room, yet not in the vicinity of air conditioning pipes.
The storage temperature is 12-24°C.
